Gives You Hell No. 1 On Billboard!Woo Hoo! Finally! They did it! Thanks Mike, for letting us know =)
He blogged at AllAmericanRejects.com regarding the band’s first #1st chart position on Billboard. Here’s the blog:
Holy shit! We’ve been doing this thing for seven years now, and I
don’t know if any of us thought that after all this time we’d still be
hitting new heights as a band, but this week “Gives You Hell” has
become our first #1 song!!! Insane! Obviously, we couldn’t be more
stoked, and we can’t say thanks enough to all you guys who helped put
it up there. Check out the link below to see it straight from the
Billboard’s mouth. We’re still reeling. Who wants to celebrate after
the show tonight? Bring it!…http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?g=Singles&a…

Latest Billboard Hot 100 ChartBy Jonathan Cohen
NEW YORK (Billboard) – Amid a static top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, Lady GaGa’s Grammy-nominated tune “Just Dance” led the field for a third week.
Also staying put at Nos. 2-5 were Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” Kanye West’s “Heartless,” T.I.’s “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.”
The All-American Rejects’ “Gives You Hell” jumped four places to No. 6, while Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” held at No. 7 and Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” fell two to No. 8.
Kevin Rudolf’s “Let It Rock” featuring Lil Wayne slipped one to No. 9, and Britney Spears’ “Circus” rose one to No. 10.
Eminem’s “Crack a Bottle” featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent was the top debut at No. 78, marking the rapper’s first appearance on the Hot 100 since “You Don’t Know” peaked at No. 12 in December 2006. Dr. Dre’s absence has been even longer; he last charted as a guest on Eminem’s “Encore” in January 2005.
